Events We Roll With!

At City Rollers, we’ve had the pleasure of participating in some incredible skating events, and we’re just getting started! Here are a few we’ve rolled through:

Explore Outdoor Adventures

City Rollers Skate Club offers a range of skating activities throughout the week, designed to cater to different skill levels and interests:

Tuesday Beginner Skate

This session is tailored for beginners who have taken classes and want to apply their skills in a real setting. It’s a safe, supervised skate along routes like the Beltline, allowing beginners to practice what they’ve learned while using protective gear. It’s an excellent opportunity to build confidence and prepare for more advanced skating events, like Thursday Skate Night.

Thursday Skate Night:

Designed for advanced skaters, this 10+ mile night skate includes routes through various Atlanta neighborhoods and surrounding areas, often featuring hills and challenging terrain. Skaters are expected to know how to brake, wear protective gear, and follow traffic laws, ensuring safety for themselves and others. This event is not recommended for beginners.

Friday Social Skate:

A relaxed, social roll where skaters can connect and explore various activities around the city. Open to adults of all skill levels, it’s a great way to meet others, unwind, and enjoy the city on wheels.

Sunday Group Classes:

Held by certified instructors, Sunday classes focus on teaching techniques and skills to become confident urban skaters. These sessions are suitable for all levels and provide structured training to help skaters improve in a supportive environment.
